Whilst on assignment remember you are representing Glasgow Coach Drivers Limited and shouldensure you portray a good image of our service by: ensuring you have a smart appearance at all times. The industry standard is shirt, tie,trousers and shoes. Jeans, T-shirts and trainers are not acceptable attire. observing all company rules that apply to the Operator.
completing a 15 minute legal 'Walk-around Check' of the vehicle before taking responsibility for the coach. All prior damage should be advised to the Operator and noted on the 'Walk around Sheet'. You should also take photographs of any damage as evidence, before commencement of the assignment. This will ensure that you are not held liable for any damage incurred prior to your assignment.
ensuring you represent the Operator in a positive light. Do not tell passengers that youare a agency driver.
Reporting any accidents that occur direct to the Operator immediately. Contact the police if required and complete a full accident report including photographic evidence which should be submitted to the Operator and a copy provided to Glasgow Coach Drivers Limited. Do not admit liability under any circumstances.
cleaning the coach at the end of the assignment and returning it in the same condition as you received it. If you are on tour you are required to clean the interior of the coach on a daily basis and the exterior of the coach must be kept clean at all times.
To ensure we all comply with transport and traffic legislation you must: obey all tachograph regulations. You should notify the Operator and Glasgow Coach Drivers Limited office within plenty of time, if you believe you will not be able to complete the assignmentwithin the legal driving times available.
Forward all tachographs and digital print-outs to the office. We will forward these to the Operator as necessary.complete a daily job sheet which includes the coach registration number, your start and finishmileage and report any defects with the vehicle to the Operatorcomply with any random drug or alcohol tests that are required by Glasgow Coach Drivers orthe Operator. Failure to comply will result in the assignment being terminated andwithdrawal of the opportunity to complete future assignments.not place the Operator in a difficult position by contacting them directly to seek work. Inthe event that you undertake direct work with the Operator they will be liable to a chargeof 500.00 Plus VAT from Glasgow Coach Drivers Limited and may pass this charge on to you.
